Annual Holiday Party with a Purpose – December 16, 2006, Celebrating the joyous holiday season with friends was even more meaningful knowing that it was a “party with a purpose”. The festive décor, sumptuous buffet, and holiday finery set the stage for the spirit of giving when guests arrived with armloads of children’s toys which were donated to Cook Children’s Hospital of Fort Worth. Even those who could not attend the party made generous donations to a good cause. This was the start of a new tradition for the holidays and the start of the Inspired Dreams Foundation. The second annual event took place on December 15, 2007 and benefited Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children of Dallas.
Annual Cabaret Fundraiser Party - On April 21, 2007 the stage was set for a night of singing and entertaining by none other than the guests who attended the second “Sing for your Supper” event and marked the first major fundraiser for the Inspired Dreams Foundation. Greenway Court was dazzlingly transformed into a cabaret complete with backdrop, sound stage, chandeliers, and professional musicians. Guests had the opportunity to take to the stage accompanied by jazz artist, Rusty Johnson, and pianist, Sam Germany. The generous donations provided a funding initiative to send economically challenged youth to camp. The second annual event is tentatively scheduled for late 2008. |
